About William Thurner
Investment Sales Advisor
William began his career working in the world of residential mortgage-backed securities and whole loan pool trading. As a key member of the Cincinnati team since 2021, William has been a key contributor to transactions totaling more than $500M. Prior to Capstone, he worked to issue over $3 billion of non-agency RMBS via private placement as well as cultivate relationships with strategic correspondent and wholesale lending partners. During this time, William developed a keen eye for financial modelling, underwriting, and transaction management which he now applies to the commercial side of the real estate industry.
William holds a B.A. in both Economics and German from Wofford College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He also chaired the College’s Honor Council, overseeing due process for all student academic violations. In the classroom he enjoyed Game Theory behavioral modelling and his time abroad in Germany’s Black Forest.
Now living and working in his hometown of Cincinnati with his wife, Virginia, William is passionate about family, faith, cooking, hunting, his perpetually mediocre golf game, and Cincinnati sports.
