While we can certainly deliver on the above, this is what we need you to bring to the team:

  • 2-3 years professional work experience, sales experience preferred
  • A driven, goal-oriented, type-A personality
  • Familiarity with real estate industry, especially commercial, preferred
  • An engaging personality who can work with a variety of people, conduct meetings with clients, and build rapport with prospects
  • The ability to close a long sales process
  • Basic computing skills, specifically MS Office
  • Understanding of financial data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in different locations
  • Professionalism, drive, and eagerness to learn

Core Responsibilities


  • Sell existing assets in the multi-family industry (market rate, affordable, and student housing), development sites, and manufactured housing
  • Service firm’s listings by engaging prospective buyers: hosting property tours, proactively calling owners to review investment opportunities, and communicating with prospective buyers who have registered for our listings
  • Underwrite assets and understand cash flow models
  • Generate original content for client deliverables
  • Coordinate brokerage transaction needs and closing files for self and more senior advisors
  • Attend firm meetings
  • Consistently demonstrate the application of company values in all business interactions

Compensation


  • Base salary and bonus structure are dependent upon experience
    (typical year 1 total compensation ranges from $70,000 to $100,000+, with potential for substantial increases in subsequent years)
  • Depending upon performance, eligible for promotion after two years
  • Eligible to earn annual firm-wide award trip
  • IT setup (laptop/monitors/keyboard/mouse/MS Office software) provided by firm

  • Is interested in a fast-paced marketing role with a heavy desktop publishing component.
  • Has a deep and even mildly disturbing love of Adobe InDesign. Job requires intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat (80% of job uses InDesign so if master pages/paragraph/character/object/table styles sound like a foreign language then this job is not for you.)
  • Candidates with Photoshop and/or Illustrator experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of email marketing & social media platforms strongly preferred.
  • College degree: preferably in communications, journalism, English, or marketing and/or 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Skillful technical and creative writer with understanding of basic grammar.
  • Flexible and efficient in fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude for quickly analyzing and inputting data.
  • Must possess professionalism, positivity, and eagerness to learn.
  • Need ability to effectively work remotely M-F from 8:30-5:30. Typically speaking staff is in Charlotte, NC office; however, due to COVID-19 pandemic you may be asked to work from home.

Core Responsibilities


  • This position will entail working directly with the partners, investment advisors, and production support staff in various aspects of day-to-day operations and become heavily involved in various firm projects and client deliverables. Position includes:

    • Creating multi-page (25-100+ page) print and interactive documents.
    • Support executives, marketing director, marketing manager, and all brokers in on-going transactional needs, client relations, and business development.
    • Create and edit firm marketing materials and marketing campaigns for client listings and firm initiatives (all created in Adobe InDesign).
    • Assist with market data collection, research, and analysis.
    • Write high-level industry narratives about housing market conditions, economic conditions, specific assets and their respective attributes, city/region highlights and trends, and various other client and firm deliverables.
    • Help maintain ongoing firm marketing forums, including the firm website, social media marketing, and mass email and mailing materials.
    • Assist with internal firm projects, including, but not limited to, e-presence and branding, data management, client distributions, and overall organization and scheduling.
    • Attend firm meetings and assist with preparation for client meetings and deliverables.
    • Assist with firm database management and content updating.
    • Always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance and be timely and reliable with the agreed upon work schedule.

Compensation


  • Compensation package to include base salary plus performance-based incentive bonus plan—details of both to be determined based upon candidate experience, skill level, and discussed later in the application and interview process.
