Capstone Closes Sale of 660-Site Manufactured Housing Community in Northeast Indiana QOZ

AUBURN, IN—Capstone Manufactured Housing has arranged the sale of West Edge Park: a 660-site, 123-acre mobile home community situated in a Qualified Opportunity Zone just off Interstate 69 in Auburn, Indiana.

West Edge Park was built in 1965 by the Dickman family, who owned and operated the community for over 50 years and were committed to providing an affordable and high-quality resident experience. The late Burt Dickman was inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame last year.

The Capstone transaction team was led by Brian Hummell, Kevan Enger, Ian Hilpl, and Hunter LaRocca. The buyer is Los Angeles-based Crown Communities.

“Crown Communities is pleased to add West Edge Park to its growing portfolio of Manufactured Housing Communities. As one of the premier communities in the state of Indiana, West Edge Park epitomizes Crown Communities’ brand of high-quality, investment-grade properties that we seek to own and operate in the future. The former community owners did an excellent job over the years building and maintaining West Edge Park and we look forward to continuing that legacy,” said Alex Cabot, Principal of Crown Communities.
