Charlie Rimkus is an experienced real estate professional with a background in highly creative deal structuring and value creation. Prior to joining Capstone’s Equity Solutions team, he was a Principal at a NYC-based multi-family investment and development firm. In his role he was deeply involved in acquisitions, underwriting, rezoning / entitlements, and investor relations.
Prior to his time as a multi-family investor, he was a Vice President on JLL’s Capital Markets team in San Francisco. There he was involved in the origination and execution of over $2.5 billion of equity and/or debt financing transactions throughout the United States.
Before JLL, Charlie resided in Chicago where he worked at Cresa as an Advisor with a focus structuring leases, sale-lease backs, and portfolio strategies for corporate clients.
Charlie is a graduate of Northwestern University where he earned his B.A. in Political Science and minor in Business Institutions. He also received a Certificate in Leadership and was a two-year Captain of the Men’s Swimming & Diving Team. He competed in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Swimming Team Trials.
