
RICHMOND, VA—Capstone Apartment Partners is pleased to welcome Cole Carns to the firm’s Richmond, Virginia brokerage office. Cole joins Capstone’s Ron Corrao and Eric Liebich in spearheading the team’s efforts in the Virginia region and looks forward to increasing the firm’s presence in this market to better serve clients.
Cole joins Capstone after working for the national builder D.R. Horton where he helped run the firm’s southern Virginia land acquisition team. In this role, he was instrumental in expanding D.R. Horton’s footprint due to his local knowledge of the Virginia market. Prior to that, Cole began his commercial real estate career as a broker with Linville Team Partners in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he represented numerous clients in the buying and selling of investment properties. In 2019, Cole was part of the two-person brokerage team that was awarded the top retail sales award for the NC Triad region.
Cole grew up in Richmond, Virginia and attended St. Christopher’s School. After high school, Cole attended High Point University where he studied Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship. While obtaining his degree, he earned his Virginia and North Carolina real estate licenses. Additionally, he was a Millis Scholar Athlete as a member of the Division One lacrosse team and was also named to the Academic All-SoCon Conference team. In his spare time, Cole enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
