SWANNANOA, NC—Capstone MH has brokered the sale of Forrest Hills to Affordable Communities Group: a sprawling, 30-acre manufactured housing community in scenic Western North Carolina. The community currently has 89 sites and is ideally located just 12 miles from Asheville.
Affordable Communities Group purchased Forrest Hills for $3.3 M. The company intends to add additional homes to the community, as well as take over the community’s existing erosion project in an effort to stabilize infrastructure and roads.
According to Teresa Schenk of DRS Communities, “Capstone was able to find the perfect Buyer for the property who was willing to complete the road project.”
Kevan Enger, Ian Hilpl, and Brian Hummell of Orlando-based Capstone Manufactured Housing represented the seller, DRS Communities, in the sale of Forrest Hills.
