JACKSONVILLE, NC—Capstone Apartment Partners announces the $45.6 million sale of Legacy at Abbington Place: a 240-unit garden-style apartment community off New Bern Hwy in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The asset is adjacent to Cross Pointe Shopping Center and boasts proximity to a variety of Class A retail along the Western Blvd corridor.
The Capstone brokerage team was comprised of Austin Green, Caleb Troop, Alex McDermott, Thomas Colaiezzi, Travis Cundiff, and Jourdan Sullivan, who sold Legacy at Abbington Place on behalf of Gastonia, NC-based Southwood Realty. Southwood acquired the asset in 2016.
The buyer is Indianapolis-based Pedcor.
Legacy at Abbington Place was built in 2005 and features one-, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes. The community boasts a generous amenity package including a large swimming pool, fitness center, playground, volleyball court, dog park, clubhouse, theatre room, business center, laundry facilities, two ponds, and garages available for rent.
