Capstone Closes $34 Million Sale of 264-Unit Apartment Asset in Growing Charlotte Suburb

ROCK HILL, SC—Capstone Apartment Partners has closed the $34,175,000 sale of Stone Haven Pointe: a 264-unit apartment asset in the Charlotte suburb of Rock Hill, South Carolina just off Interstate 77 and US 21.

Capstone’s Austin Green, Alex McDermott, and Caleb Troop sold the property on behalf of Southwood Realty and procured the buyer, Indianapolis-based Pedcor, who plans to perform upgrades on the unit interiors.

“We have seen continued investor attraction to York County, as it is one of the fastest growing counties in the country. Stone Haven Pointe is a strong asset offering proximity to Interstate 77 and the greater Charlotte MSA.” said Green.

Built in 1996, Stone Haven Pointe comprises one-, two-, and three-bedroom units in 13 three-story apartment buildings. Each apartment home features a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, spacious closets, and a patio or balcony. Community amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, fitness center, and laundry facilities. Stone Haven Pointe was approximately 95% occupied at the time of closing.
