OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—Capstone Apartment Partners has closed the 10.6 million sale of Aspen Walk: a 146-unit apartment in the Highland Park neighborhood of Oklahoma City. Positioned only minutes away from I-35 & I-240, Aspen Walk offers an exemplary location with extremely high visibility.
Capstone’s David Dirkschneider, William Forrest, Mike Marrara, and Chris O’Hare sold the asset on behalf of Joachim Bosch. The buyer is AJS Equities, who plans to continue to upgrade units, improve the property’s exterior curb appeal, and cure any deferred maintenance.
“The buyer was excited to enter the Oklahoma City market and felt that Aspen Walk was the perfect entry into the market. They were impressed by the asset’s consistent occupancy, stable performance, and value-add upside,” said David Dirkschneider.
Built in 1974, Aspen walk is comprised of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes with fully equipped kitchens, ceiling fans, wood-style flooring in wet areas, and window coverings. Community amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, playground, courtyards, laundry facilities, and picnic/grilling areas. Aspen Walk was approximately 96.5% occupied at the time of closing.
